You already know what a shopaholic I am. What you don't know, unless you've been following me on Twitter is how much of a hypochondriac I am. It's quite ridiculous. For the past week and a half, I've been suffering from a headache that has slowly been subsiding, but of course, a headache that lasts that long is something to worry about. And worry, I did.
I've been googling up a storm - from my ailments that lead to my discovering about brain bleeds and cancerous tumours; it doesn't help that I'm a big fan of Grey's Anatomy for years. I've seen Dr Derek Shepherd through hundreds of brain surgeries, and trust me, that does not help my hypochondria.
What this headache and hypochondria has led me to discover? First, that getting a full body examination with blood work and all that jazz is expensive - but worth it when the doctor tells you you're fit as a fiddle. And that I have a phobia of medical facilities and personnel [my blood pressure shoots up like crazy whenever I get tested by a doctor, or in a medical facility, but it is normal when I'm not], I have a slight astigmatism in my left eye, which means I need to wear glasses when I'm in Spanish class now. Good thing I think I look cute in glasses.
Or maybe I should try rocking an eye patch. Just call me Lisa "Left Eye" Lopez Faz "Left Eye" Gaffa. ;o)
