I once said the iPhone changed my life, and while I don't take that back, the LG Optimus 7 has taken me to tech nirvana. And I'm not just saying that because LG made me one of their e-influencers and gave me their spanking new phone. ;o)
An introduction is due here before you get all confused. A couple weeks ago, LG contacted me to be a part of their online ambassador programme: I'd get to fiddle with a new phone before everyone else, I get to be photographed and filmed and I'd get to meet other like-minded individuals. I couldn't say no! A few weeks later, I've been photographed, filmed and photographed some more, I've been twiddling with the phone for almost a week and the LG Optimus 7 teaser has been pieced together and ready for the world to judge:
The first Windows Phone 7 that has been launched in Singapore, the wicked phone packs a punch with so, so many features including
- a Play To function that lets you share photos or videos on a TV without having to muck around with wires,
- an awesome HD video camera and
- ScanSearch, an application that lets you access real-time info about shopping, dining, entertainment and everything else you need in your daily lives.
I know this is a lot of information to digest, so here's the best part - for seven weeks from today, I will be blogging, tweeting and what-have-yous about this awesome little gadget!
My favourite feature so far is its Voice-to-Text - a function that lets me update Twitter and Facebook just by talking to the phone! I LOVE IT! I know a lot of other phones have voice command functions, but this phone lets me yell into Twitter without having to type anything! It's a work of genius!
Tweeting about my incompetent assistants will never be the same again:
[I kid - I'm damn nice to my assistants, okay!]
P.S.: Join LG Mobile Asia's Facebook Page and vote for my blog post every week! Or follow 'em on Twitter! P.P.S: I know I haven't removed the plastic bits off my new phone. I'm one of those annoying people who refuse to peel off the sticky plastic bits until they're no longer sticky. Or till one of my friends gets so annoyed with the plastic, they peel it off. Whichever comes first. Heh.
