What a journey it's been! From playing virtual golf, to golf lessons, to hanging out with pro golfers at a cocktail event and of course, to the big weekend itself, the HSBC Women's Champions 2011 has been nothing short of awesome. And if that's not enough I've also seen Michelle Wie and Paula Creamer in traditional outfits during the press con:
Speaking of Michelle Wie, she was wearing a pretty LBD during the cocktail and horror of all horrors, she had the most ghastly tan lines - quite literally, her arms and her torso and shoulders looked like they belonged on different bodies. Pity you can't spot tan, can you?
I took my mum to the last day of the HSBC Women's Champions 2011 at the Tanah Merah Country Club and we spent the day cowering in the shade whilst I attempted to explain the game to my mum. A golf rookie myself, I was constantly confused, but we had a ball of a time anyway.
Oodles of people:
The Interactive Village saw lots of people too:

Ditching my heels for toe-cleavage-bearing nautical flats:
For those who are clueless, as I would be if not for HSBC, Karrie Webb kicked ass, recording a last-day 69 to finish on a 72-hole aggregate of 13-under 275 and edge Arimura (71 today) by a single stroke. Girlfriend won 1.4 mil, baby - she must feelin' fly like a G6 fo' shizzle.
Much thanks to Rosemary Hayes, and all the good people at Hill & Knowlton for getting me involved with this project, HSBC, Fulford PR and my fellow blogging kakis, Adrian and Angela! Looking forward to the 2012 Champions already!
