The Body Shop's Honey Bronze Collection

As you may or may not have noticed, I've, with the help of my trusted techy friend, Vova, meddled with the sizes of the photos and he's added an Instagram Plugin on the side! We're gonna be meddling with a couple more things so bear with me, will ya?

I also need a new header. Aiyoh.

Anyhow, before I left for Bangkok, The Body Shop delivered a bottle of sunshine right to my doorstep - goodies from their new Honey Bronze collection!

I've mentioned this before - I'm no makeup expert or guru, unlike my kakis Andrea and Dewi, and I'm very lazy with my makeup. This face was put together in a matter of minutes with bits and bobs from their new collection.

The bronzers were much too light for my skin colour, but I do love the Honey Bronze Lip Nectar. The Body Shop's lipglosses always taste yummy, and they're not super sticky. I always get my hair stuck on my lips when I have sticky gloss on.

My favourite out of the collection [aside from the chocolates they delivered together with the makeup] is the Honey Bronze Shimmering Dry Oil. I'm so tired of makeup or skincare counter girls trying to sell me whitening products so celebrating being brown [or bronze!] is music to my ears. The bottle of bronzing goodness also softens and moisturises skin. I use it almost always when I wear a short dress these days!

On my facial shores:

Foundation: FACE Atelier Ultra Foundation [take Andrea's foundation challenge here];

Eyes: The Body Shop's Big & Curvy Waterproof Mascara, & The Body Shop's Eye Definer in Rich Brown

Cheeks: Joe Fresh Cheek Tint [courtesy of Andrea!] & The Body Shop's Brush On Bronze.

Lips: The Body Shop's Honey Bronze Lip Nectar.

Of course, good lighting helps heaps. ;o)

The Honey Bronze Collection is currently available in The Body Shop stores islandwide.
